THE WHITE HORSE PROJECT
Challenging young lives ... promising new futures
The White Horse Project works with young people aged 11 to 18 in Rossendale, to improve their life chances and enable them to play a full part in their local community.
We deliver an exciting programme of professional tuition, workshops, events and youth socials at Newchuch Community Space lead by local youth leaders who have grown up in the Rossendale Valley.
The sessions timetable includes:
Musical instrument lessons
Singing lessons
Band
Cookery
Art & craft
Youth Socials
Occasional activities in Edgeside Park

Membership to The White Horse Project is FREE. You can register anyone in Year 6 to age 18 here:

All sessions are open to The White Horse Project members, for which membership registration costs nothing. Some sessions have limited spaces such as Cookery for which there are waiting lists. Contact us for more information on dates and availability.
If you know a young person who would like to take up learning an instrument - it can be anything from drums and guitar to saxaphone or trumpet, please get in touch and join the waiting list. If they learn elsewhere and want to practice or perform in a group, speak to us about joining the Band.
NEWCHURCH COMMUNITY SPACE
The building is available for hire for one off events or regular meets.
It is currently hired by Girlguiding, Hatha Yoga, a community choir Newville Chorus.
